About Me
With 27 years of experience in the legal profession, I have represented clients in a wide range of personal injury matters. My areas of experience include bicycle and car crashes, trip and falls, construction accidents, product liability, asbestos claims, lead paint and mold litigation, and plane crashes. Over the last eight years, I have focused primarily on representing individuals riding bicycles or simply walking in the City who have been struck by negligent drivers. I also have extensive experience with trip and fall claims, premises liability, construction site claims, and other types of personal injury matters. Additionally, I served for five (5) years as an arbitrator for the NYC Civil Courts Small Claims Court.
My earlier work as a defense attorney has given me insight into the insurance industry, their practices, and tactics. I leverage this knowledge to help negotiate the best possible outcome for my clients.
Beyond my legal work, I am an advocate for safe streets. I have been fighting for years to make our streets safer and reduce the unnecessary and tragic deaths and injuries that are all too common on our roadways involving car crashes. This commitment was a driving factor behind my switch from defense work to representing those hurt by reckless and negligent drivers.
I have volunteered for over a decade with Transportation Alternatives' Queens Committee and formerly served as the Chair of that group. I also joined my local Community Board and was initially a resident member of its Transportation Committee. Today, I am the Chair of the Transportation Committee and First Vice Chair of the Board. I was also named by City & State Magazine to the 2023 Queens Power 100 due to my advocacy for pedestrian safety.
Overall, I bring a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to advocating for the safety and rights of my clients and the community at large.
